You will see the license key listed in the Step 2 section of the dialog. Now start the same HASP RUS utility used to generate the fingerprint, this time on the old computer. At the bottom in the Run-time section, note the number next to Run-time Installer. In the above example a license for SL DIANA 9.5 is available on key 684732651704848746 on the old computer. The USB key can be plugged back in after the computer has booted up. On the FARO software PC, open an Internet browser and go to The Sentinel Admin Control Center appears. Remember to restart the computer after the above procedure. (If this command fails, write "haspdinst -i -fi") Wait for the following message: Exit out of the command prompt. Wait for the following message: Step 6 – Type in "haspdinst -i -kp" and press Enter. Step 5 – Type in "haspdinst -fr -purge" and press Enter. Unzip downloaded archive in to this new folder. On the license server we have to allow client systems to access the network license key. Configure the HASP driver on the license server. If you do not use an internet connection with your FARO software, are creating a license server, or are having issues with the automated internet-based license activation inside FARO software you may need to manually install the latest versions of the HASP driver and RUS. Both are installed when you install FARO software. It is not need to have your protected application installed. The HASP driver and RUS enable FARO software licensing. This document assumes the HASP driver is already installed.

This document attempts to explain how to configure the DIANA specific HASP driver on the license server and client systems in order to make the network license work.
Note that from this point everything can be done on any PC. License keys for DIANA are based on SafeNet Sentinel HASP technology. Navigate to the C:\Key by entering “cd C:\Key” and press Enter. Now we have our hasp passwords ready and your hasp plugged. If you are running Windows Vista or 7, you can bypass going to the Run command and type in CMD in the Search box. Step 2 – Download the latest sentinel HASP command line drivers from the following link: The file name is Sentinel_HASP_Run-time_ cmd_line.zip (9.61 MB) Step 3 – Extract the contents inside the *.zip file to a folder (Example C:\Key) Step 4 – Click on the Windows “Start” menu, navigate to Run, and type in CMD. It can be uninstalled from “ADD/REMOVE Programs” in the Windows Control Panel. Solution: Complete the following steps: Step 1 – Remove the USB key from the computer and uninstall any previous MemoHASP drivers. If you have an Aladdin MemoHASP hardware key and PTW refuses to start or the hardware key light continues to blink, you must manually install the drivers from the command prompt.
